Blythe Auffarth began her career as a young adult doing theater and musical theater in New York City, working with directors like Jerry Zaks, Harold Prince, Leonard Foglia, Daniel Fish and Robert Johanson. Favorite parts included Anne Frank, Helen Keller and Little Helen, an autobiographical character written by Carol Burnett with the help of her daughter.
